CORNET is a strong blonde Belgian beer with an alcohol percentage of 8.5%. It is a specialty top‑fermented beer with secondary fermentation occurring in the bottle. CORNET was first brewed in brewery De Hoorn in Steenhuffel.
Oak wood chips are added during the brewing process, which makes for a unique taste experience that finely maintains the balance between the fruitiness of the yeast and the vanilla sweetness of the wood. The addition of wood chips is inspired by the traditional method of storing the blonde beer in oak barrels. The beer is available in 33 cl bottles, in large 75 cl bottles and in 20 l barrels.
